Welcome To Zen Den Animal Wellness & Rehabilitation
Zen Den Animal Wellness & Rehabilitation offers the very best in rehabilitation care to our patients. We believe in continuing education and learning as much as possible so we can offer the highest quality and most up-to-date animal rehabilitation care. This holds true for our veterinarians and the rest of our staff. Our patients and their owners deserve to have the very best care when they walk through our doors.
We also want pets and owners to be comfortable in our office. There is nothing worse than going to the doctor and not being able to talk freely. Our veterinarians and staff are here to answer any questions you may have, no matter how silly they may seem. To make pets comfortable in our office, we treat them as if they were our own. To us this means working hard to keep them healthy and figuring out what is wrong with them when they are sick. They are going to be showered with love and attention from our receptionists, our techs, and our veterinarians whenever they walk through our doors. We all started out as animal lovers who have made it our lives’ work to make sure your pets have an enjoyable visit to our hospital every time.
We are here not only to help your pets, but also to help you! As pet owners ourselves, we understand how hard ownership can be. We know the challenges and the rewards. We understand the fear you feel when your pets are not feeling well. We also know that with the right care, your pets can live the happiest and healthiest lives possible. We are here to help you give your pets the best possible lives they deserve.
So don’t hesitate to call us here at (661) 948-1931. We can schedule an appointment for you or answer any questions you may have!
I can't say enough about the tremendous care and love my Jake gets from his therapy in the caring hands of Christy and Lyndsi...as well as the patience and understanding I get from the both of them when I get anxious about Jake's progress. They both are so knowledgeable and caring with the both of us that I now think of them as extended family. I only wish that they had the staff to extend the hours to Friday and Saturday, but understand completely that these 2 angels need their days off as well. Please don't hesitate to incorporate this level of care for your pets overall well being...this DYNAMIC DUO is the best!Mary M.
We love Zen Den! Christy and her staff are so kind and caring. You can feel Christy's love for animals. Her staff is also the same way, you will for sure get a comfortable feeling when you meet them. Our dog has severe back pain and we were told that Christy is "a miracle worker" so we decided to go to her and our dog has been doing so much better. We noticed a difference right after the first day. Thank you Zen Den for all you do for our Baby girl and for other animals.AmeliaJonathan Z.
I recently brought my working line German Shepherd to Zen Den Wellness and Rehab and was completely astounded by the facility, staff, and the philosophy of this business. My dog is constantly working in personal protection and trains hard daily. This includes activities that put immense physical and mental pressure on my dog. I was looking for a facility that brought the same intensity towards rehabilitation as my dog brings towards his duties. In essence, my dog is an athlete and I needed a facility that will treat him as an athlete; I found this in Zen Den Animal Wellness. If you are looking for a place that can help identify, treat, and prevent physical problem areas using next generation techniques, look no further than Zen Den Animal Wellness. The staff was absolutely astonishing in their knowledge and treatment of my K9. In particular, John Anthony, helped guide me through all aspects of keeping my working dog healthy and in peak working condition. I can not say enough good things about this facility. Please support this business, as they bring a higher standard of care, support, and equipment to keep your animal performing!Jonathan S.
And another update...
In a good news / bad news sort of moment, it was suggested that we increase the time between visits. We love going to Zen Den and appreciate what they've done for Teag. Also, this is clearly not a business trying to fleece folks with unnecessary therapy visits.
The last couple of sessions have been great. Excellent progress on the treadmill. Excellent progress away from the facility as well. I was reminded to write this update as I was watching our little dog nearly break into a RUN for no particular reason. He was really moving for over 300 feet just on his own. He used to be VERY slow.
Yeah - things are great! Take your achey pets to Zen Den!Saro M.
This place and Christie are absolutely amazing! I'm pretty sure Christie is secretly a wizard with magic healing powers! Our little guy has some pretty serious issues that will require surgery. His first visit was awesome. Usually a consult is just that. Someone tells you you're broken and how they can fix you. Not this place! Out little man got a laser treatment and massage to relieve his pain at the consult!! Since his "pre-hab" began he has shown improvement; he is getting stronger and is in less pain. Thank you Christie for caring so deeply for the critters you help.Loli M.
I had such a great experience with this place. I've been looking for a regular place for my dog and this place is absolutely perfect. The vet and Christy (sp?) were so caring and took such good care of my Sara. Very caring and thorough. Your pet is in very good hands here!!Kate H.
5 stars are not enough for Zen Den!
Our one year old dog had surgery (femoral head osectomy and sacroiliac fracture repaired with screws) at AV Veterinary Center in September and came to Zen Den for physical therapy. Dagny has been visiting Zen Den since about a week after her surgery and just 2 months later you would never know she'd had it!
Christy, Lyndsi and Lizette have been so wonderful with her that Dagny jumps out of the car and rushes to the office door. It is somewhat bittersweet that Dagny has recovered so well that she no longer needs treatment but we will definently come in for visits. Thank you for doing what you do, you are truly amazing!!Kery G.
A little pup we have that was found wandering the desert has had trouble with his hind legs. A visit to another vet resulted in a dismissive "He's got floating kneecaps. Keep him thin." While he was not incorrect and keeping weight down is probably easier on joints, there was no sense of anything to really make our pup's life better. A bit of looking turned up Zen Den. We had no referral and no basis of comparison. We had our consult yesterday. I was expecting to sit and talk for a few minutes while Christy (she seems to run the show there) poked and prodded a bit, fully expecting to just hear what we already knew. Instead, she tuned in to the fact that our little pup is in pain and compensating pretty severely. She performed a couple of kinds of therapy (manual as well as laser). She also brought in Dr Sandhu from a neighboring animal hospital (he's saved another of our dog's lives from a terrible brain infection!) to confirm her suspicions and recommended course of treatment (likely followed up with surgery). Later that day, our little pup demonstrated better posture and walking than any time since we've had him. Further treatments are scheduled. I think we're expecting surgery in a month (subject to pup's progress). I'll try to update this as our treatment progresses. So far, I can wholeheartedly recommend that you take your achey pets to Zen Den.Saro M.
Staff was so sweet! They went above & beyond the shot boosters I came in for and truly cared for my dog!Rachel P.
Staff was great with treating my cat. They took their time to treat her and to explain to us what they would be doing. I will be bringing all of my pets here in the future!Lauren C.
